The Insurance Diploma in Administrative Technology Department is designed to meet the needs of the local labor market for this specialization. Training for this specialization is conducted at Taiba Higher Training Institute in five semesters, each semester lasting eighteen training weeks, for a total of (1632) training hours, in addition to (490) hours of practical training in the labor market, equivalent to (77) credit hours.
This program provides training on specialized insurance skills to meet the urgent need of the Saudi insurance market for specializations in this field, especially in insurance and reinsurance companies. It also supports the Saudi insurance market with specialized employees in the fields of cooperative insurance and health insurance who are able to perform job duties with a high technical quality.
In addition, it provides work and practice of insurance-related liberal professions, namely insurance brokers, insurance agents, assistants to actuaries, surveyors and loss adjusters, insurance consultants, and insurance claims settlement specialists. Graduates of this program are awarded an associate degree in insurance, administrative technology department. They are expected to work in the insurance sector in all administrative tasks, in addition to working as an insurance broker, insurance agent, assistant to actuaries, surveyors and loss adjusters, insurance consultants, and insurance claims settlement specialists.
