Taiba Higher Training Institutes Company has signed a memorandum of understanding with King Abdulaziz University, represented by its Faculty of Architecture and Planning. It is a new step in the company’s work to build academic partnerships that serve trainees and the job market.
An academic partnership in architecture and planning
The memorandum is part of the company’s plan to widen its partnerships with universities and academic institutions. The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Othman bin Yahya Zakaria, has said that the next stage aims to raise the quality of education and training, expand partnerships and connect training outcomes with employment.
The Faculty of Architecture and Planning is closely linked to several of the company’s programmes, including the Architectural Construction, Civil Construction and Surveying diplomas, each a two-and-a-half-year intermediate diploma.
More options for engineering graduates
The company gives its graduates the chance to continue towards a bachelor’s degree with local and international universities through bridging and credit-transfer routes, especially in civil, architectural and surveying specialisations. Partnerships like this bring trainees closer to university life and open wider horizons.
